John P. McDonald, President

John McDonald is the President of Facility Vendor Network, an outsourced sales and marketing company that provides consulting services backed by more than 30 years of experience in the facility, hospitality, event, premium seating, media and sponsorship property industry. Under John’s leadership, FVN “bridges the gap” between service providers, sponsors and public assembly facilities and events by integrating the expertise and resources necessary to operate from all sides of the vendor-venue-sponsor relationship. FVN facilitates partnerships that improve operational efficiency, expand guest services, enhance patron experiences, and boost revenue streams and brand awareness. Most recently, FVN is proud to announce the growth of its Profit Advisory Division, which has partnered with a handful of preferred vendors to provide various auditing and cost-saving services.
 
John’s background features sales and marketing in the hospitality industry, including management positions with Carnival Hotels and Casinos, Doubletree Hotel Corporation, and Hyatt Hotel Corporation. Additionally, he is the former Senior Vice President and co-owner of Front Row Marketing Services, LP., a member of the Comcast-Spectacor family of sports and entertainment firms. During his tenure in hospitality and continuing through his progression into sports and entertainment facilities, John has earned a reputation for implementing creative and innovative solutions that revolutionize and streamline venue operations, enhance patron loyalty programs, add value to the customer experience, and maximize opportunities for sponsors and advertisers. He consults and provides outsourced marketing and sales services.
 
Today, John is a leader in the premium seating and sponsorship media industry and holds one of the nation’s highest volumes of suite transactions. He is a nationally recognized expert in generating incremental revenue streams through the development of commercial rights and facility sponsorships. He has lead and/or participated in the development of revenue plans for several facilities, including the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL, New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA, The Giant Center in Hershey, PA., John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, Budweiser Event Center in Loveland, CO., Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ., Ted Constant Convocation Center at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and other facilities and projects. He is also a past board member for the Association of Luxury Suite Directors (ALSD), which has over 650 facilities and affiliates as participants and members.

John continues to be actively involved in the ongoing development of municipal marketing, a concept he helped develop that leverages marketable city, county, and/or state-owned assets and secures commercial partnerships to defer the cost of community governance. However, he also currently consults wth a host of clients across several industries to provide outsourced sales and marketing services. Furthermore, he has championed the launch of a Profit Advisory Division within FVN which allows clients to increase revenues further through cost savings. He is frequently referenced and retained in speaking engagements, and his knowledge and expertise have earned him the respect of clients and colleagues across the country.

             Emily Williams, Project Specialist

A consultancy as unique as Facility Vendor Network demands a staff that can respond to a wide variety of challenges swiftly and efficiently. Emily Williams is just that dependable "go-to" for FVN. She plays an executive role in client relations, serving as a critical liason and problem-solver that carries project objectives out to success.

 

Her career development in business, sales, research, and communication began during her undergraduate studies, when she was awarded funding to present research at a national conference. She was applauded by established academics for her work, and these achievements helped her win a scholarship for an intensive study-abroad course at the University of Oxford in England. There, she demonstrated proficiency in writing and persuasion, designing her own courses, and receiving marks which distinguished her from her peers.

 

Emily would graduate Summa Cum Laude from University of Tampa in 2012, but she already had gained full-time professional employment in sales and counseling at Bisk Education as she completed her studies. At Bisk, she climbed rapidly to the top of her department, gaining the respect of both her colleagues and of upper management.

 

The next chapter of her career would bring her to Portugal, where she assisted in a leadership role with a small start-up, Harmony Technology Ventures. At HTV, Emily's discoveries in marketing and research provided critical information which guided strategy for the new company.

 

Today, Emily utilizes her sales, marketing and research skills as a client relations liason for Facility Vendor Network. Her unique life and business experiences, which have carried her to twenty countries throughout the world and helped her achieve success in business and communication, ideally position Emily to provide tailored solutions for the varying needs of Facility Vendor Network's clients. She delivers speciality services to include client communications, contract compliance, marketing development, and sales action-plan execution. Her ability to adapt to challenges and deliver creative solutions greatly contribute to FVN's ability to manage costs and increase revenues for its clients.
